Patrick Cappiello may be one of America's most decorated sommeliers. The multi-Grand Award-winning owner of the restaurants Rebelle and Pearl & Ash on the Bowery in New York City has brought edge and accessibility to the wine world, removing it from its stuffy reputation. Patrick and I co-created the show Tasting Notes, which I produce and direct. Together we make wine more accessible to our young male audience, working with some of New York's finest chefs to understand pairing, imparting helpful tips a varietals and even doing supermarket taste tests to find the best values in wine.
